Hoka One One Shoes: The Best Fitness Kicks

SPICY WORKOUT SHOES.

They make you want to work out, right?

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that I had been testing out a bunch of different workout shoes over the last couple of months. I have been running a lot more: 3-4 miles per day, about 4 days per week. I have developed plantar faciatis and it had become more unbearable when it came to running. I needed new shoes, bad.

I went to a running store, had my feet scanned and analyzed, and found out that I had been wearing the wrong shoe size. Tip: try wearing a half size or full size up from your regular shoe size when it comes to fitness shoes. Why? Your feet swell when they get warm. When I put an older pair of running shoes on after getting some new ones, I thought, how the hell did I wear these?! They were so uncomfortable.

Anyway.

After trying several pairs of shoes, I fell in love with Hoka One One. If you have arched feet and/or if you have plantar faciatis, you must try Hoka One One shoes. They are like the Bentley of running shoes. Nothing compares. Plus they have some really fun colors.

I am now the proud owner of two pairs of the Bondi 6 shoes and a pair of the Mach shoes.

Let’s discuss the Bondi 6’s first:

These are the game changers. They are the most cushioned shoes that I have ever worn. Yes, they can look geriatric if you get the black ones, but get them in a fun color and you’re golden. Side note: dad shoes are IN, so now is the time more than ever to rock these babies. The Bondi 6’s will take you far and wide with your running.

Hoka One One Mach:

The Mach shoes are also well cushioned, but they are very light weight. These are great for running, but since I am spoiled with the Bondi’s, I use the Mach shoes on my weight lifting only days at the gym.

How fun is the spicy red color?! Throw on a hat and a cute hoodie, and you’re good for errands or a casual lunch.

I love trying new products and these are some ✨new✨faves of mine I have to share with you:

@saintjanebeauty lip oil: love a high-shine gloss and this is ITTT. It’s actually called a lip oil which did scare me before trying it, but really just feels like a gloss. It’s not greasy at all. the sparkly pink is my fave 💖 

@herbivorebotanicals moon fruit: calling all pregnant/breastfeeding mamas! this product is a retinol-alternative serum that's clinically-proven to treat signs of aging with 1% bakuchiol + plant peptides. I started using it a few months ago and really love it. I do miss retinol (still breastfeeding) but this is a gentler option. 

Burdock oil: I had no idea about this oil until I researched ingredients for the best scalp treatment and this is one of the ingredients I use in my DIY scalp treatment. However I’ve also been using it on my face to double cleanse because it is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. 

@lysbeautyofficial blush: this is the color humble and it’s the prettiest orangey pink which is fab for summer. I’m a cream blush convert because it’s so much more natural looking than powders. & this one is matte, so it won’t look greasy ✨

I’ve always had a vision for my most beautiful life. But with anything, it needed some refinement (as with everything in life).
Since I have become deeply entrenched in coaching, I have been able to identify my core (vs acquired) values to be able to design my day/life. 🌸 
Some questions to ask yourself to do the same:

I’m your dream day, what are you wearing? 
What values are you living by?
What does your environment look and feel like?
Where do you live?
What activities bring you energy?
