Holiday parties are in full swing! Is is just me, or are there holiday parties and events every day leading up to NYE?
I love to look festive and add a little extra GLAM during the holidays, but with minimal effort. When Macy’s invited me to come in and work with a stylist to pick out a couple of holiday outfits, I was THRILLED. My stylist, Lesle, at the Walnut Creek Macy’s was amazing and she GOT me and understood my style from the minute I walked in. I highly recommend working with My Stylist at Macy’s if you are in need of the perfect outfit for any occasion.
Now let’s chat about dressing for the holidays. Here are my best tips on looking your best for the holidays:
♡ When in doubt, go with a two-piece set. I am so obsessed with two-piece sets because they are just EASY. And you’ll look instantly put together and chic in a set.
I love this top and bottom metallic two-piece set from Rachel Roy – it has the perfect amount of sparkle too.
♡ Go bold and sexy but keep it classy too. My best tip for keeping your look sexy AND classy at the same time is to go for a bodycon dress or set, like this one, but keep yourself covered. Maybe show a little leg, but that’s it. Another idea: if you want to wear a low-cut top, opt for a longer skirt or pants. Gotta leave something to the imagination, ya know?
♡ Ditch the LBD. I’m usually all for all black everything, but it’s so fun to wear festive/bright colors during the holidays. My favorite this year is RED. Red lipstick tip: If you are fearful of wearing red clothing or shoes, try a red lip. There’s really no better time that around the holidays. If you do wear a red lipstick, go for a liquid lipstick as it won’t smudge or come off when you’re eating or kissing. Great for parties, right? My favorite is NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo.
