Hi! Happy Monday!
I’m so excited to share this post with you because I have been LOVING my new skincare routine. I have been using these products now for a couple of months, and my skin has never been better. It is SO important to take care of your skin.
Right now I am loving the minimal makeup look with very glowy skin. My skin is naturally incredibly dry. I suffer from psoriasis on my scalp, and that extends down to my face as well. If I do not exfoliate and moisturize, it is not pretty. For this reason (and others) I LOVE oils.
To remove my makeup, I use coconut oil. It’s amazing, ladies! Your makeup, eye makeup included will come off so much easier than with a makeup wipe. I apply the oil all over my face and eyes, and then use a warm & wet washcloth to rinse it all off. Afterward, I wash my face with an exfoliating cleanser or a regular face wash. I love this one and this one.
While we’re talking about night time, I’ll take you through the rest of my routine.
+ After I remove my makeup and wash my face, I apply the NuGene NuCell Universal Serum. OMG, you guys…this stuff is incredible. Formulated with multiple human growth factors, polypeptides, vitamins, minerals and amino acids, NuGene’s signature serum encourages aging skin to behave more like younger skin, making an unmistakable improvement in the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots, rough texture and more. It encourages skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin while boosting other vital matrix protein syntheses, enabling it to repair and prevent environmental damage, improve texture and thickness, and restore skin’s natural luminosity. The result is a radiantly youthful complexion. Take a look at the before and after photos from people who use this product HERE.
+ After the Universal Serum has had some time to sink in, I apply Sanitas Vita C Serum. Sanitas Skincare Vita C Serum is formulated with 25% lipohilic vitamin C to help prevent and repair signs of aging without causing irritation. Squalane delivers hydration and assists in the transdermal absorption of the active ingredients, and essential fatty acids help to heal your skin while evening tone. It increases cell renewal and reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyper-pigmentation. If you have oily skin, I do not recommend using this during the day, however those with dry skin – use it both day and night!
+ Eye cream comes next, and I love the Clinicians Complex Peptide Eye Cream. Peptide Eye Cream inhibits the development of new wrinkles while also offering anti-wrinkle properties to treat existing lines. This moisturizing eye cream contains hyaluronic acid and arnica to help further rejuvenate sun-damaged and aging skin. Hyaluronic acid anywhere on the skin = instant plump-ness and hydration. Buh-bye, crepe-y eyes!
+ Last step is a heavy moisturizer. If you have dry skin, you will LOVE Obagi’s Hydrate Luxe Cream. It is what it says – LUXURIOUS. It’s like giving your skin a huge drink of water. I love that it seals the deal on everything else I put on underneath.
When I wake up, my skin is SO hydrated, NOT greasy, and ready for makeup (or not). I apply chapstick to keep my lips hydrated whether or not I’m wearing makeup.
My morning routine is similar, but I do not use coconut oil or the Obagi Cream in the AM.
I do the same steps as above, minus the coconut oil and the Obagi Cream. Instead, I top it all off with the Elta MD sunscreen. Sunscreen is the best anti-aging product you can use during the daytime. It’s a MUST. I love this sunscreen because it’s not greasy and it’s not drying – it’s perfect to use for a bare face or with makeup on top.
Medical grade skincare is expensive – but SO, SO worth it. I’m so thrilled to be able to offer you all 15% off of most products on Premierlook.com, where I got all of these items except for the chapstick. Use code Lynn15 at checkout!
