Not too long ago, I thought that sleeveless turtlenecks were the most idiotic invention to meet the fashion world. I remember I had a sleeveless turtleneck crop top in 2002…could the early 2000’s be coming back? I really, really hope not.
Anyway, once this trend became so big that I just couldn’t ignore it, I decided to try it out. AND I LOVE IT. Why? Because sleeveless turtlenecks keep you slightly warmer when the air is starting to get more crisp during this time of year. And best of all, they are PERFECT for layering. I’m surprised that this didn’t actually happen sooner…it’s pretty genius. WTF am I talking about? Adding a (faux) leather jacket on top of a sleeveless turtleneck is just the perfect combination because there is no extra bulk on the sleeve area. That’s my skinny tip of the day. You will see me wearing sleeveless turtlenecks all fall and winter long, because who wants their arms to look larger than they are?
Have you worn a sleeveless turtleneck before? Thoughts?
