Dressing monochromatically is not only easy as it takes the guesswork out of pairing different prints and colors, but it looks effortless and chic as well. This dress is my absolute favorite shape (I can’t get enough of the full skirt!). Styling this dress was so easy – I paired it with my favorite nude clutch and gave it a pop with nude sandals with a splash of hot pink.
The Statement Necklace
I am not an in-between person. I prefer to either be super blonde or super dark, wear flats or HIGH heels (no kitten heels here), and the same goes for my jewelry. Either delicate or BAM! pieces. And I don’t save those BAM! pieces for special events.
Cinderella Skirt
This skirt makes me think of Cinderella everytime I wear it. To offset its girly-ness, I paired it with this graphic sleeveless blouse, statement earrings, and lace-up sandals for extra edge.
Met Gala 2015: Best Dressed
When this year’s Met Gala theme was announced; China: Through the Looking Glass, many expected that celebrities would go wild and some would play it safe as to not be offensive, erring on the side of being boring. …And in my opinion, that is exactly what happened! The Trench Vest: 3 Ways
Layering is not one of my strong suits, but I love a good challenge and am always trying to think of unique ways to layer my clothes. This sleeveless trench gives structure to any outfit, and I love the versatility it lends. The neutral color makes it easy to throw on with an otherwise classic work outfit, and with its menswear vibe it adds contrast to a casual Summer outfit and/or a girly date night ensemble.

Spring Nights
It’s still a little chilly this Spring, so I’ve been remixing some of my Winter staples with Spring and Summer pieces as we make the transition from freezing cold weather to sweltering heat. My tip for Spring transitional outfits is…
The Jumpsuit
Bust out the jumpsuits this Spring, ladies! I LOVE a good jumpsuit just about as much as I love maxi dresses.
Floral Kimono
Romantic and effortless, kimonos are such an easy & fashionable way to ‘make’ a casual outfit. For me, kimonos are the perfect piece to wear when I’m feeling uninspired because they instantly add that carefree-fun vibe to any outfit.
Spring Florals
Florals are a Spring staple for me. I have been stashing this top in my closet for months, and I was so excited to put it on for this 80-degree Bay Area day.
DIY Luxe Coffee Table
You may or may not have noticed that this little blog of mine took a little long hiatus. I went through what has been one of the most trying times of my life. My home flooded in December, and all…
Mixing Metals
There’s no reason why you can’t wear gold, silver, and rose gold all together in one outfit; in fact, if done right it can look effortless and chic.
